Mojang's viral video game:

Minecraft

Imagine a world where you are given the freedom to build things, hack out
mine while avoiding death by various number of blocky, yet terrifying beasties.
It is survival at its best, in a virtual world. The blocky look of the game is very similar to Legos, which both games originated from Sweden and the latter
from Denmark.

Markus A. Persson, also known as "Notch", a Swedish video game programmer, designer and owner of Mojang, is the creator of Minecraft, alongside with Carl Manneh and Jakob Porser in the late 2010. Minecraft, is known as a"sandbox" video game that has gained popularity and support since its tech demo in 2009. Persson has  won a number of awards and have gained significant notability within the video game industry.

Minecraft game is quite addictive and that is largely due to its multitude of choices whether in the modes, the grids, the items to build with, defend and
fight with the beasties, or to simply move around. There is some implied violence involve the game, though no gory bloody splatter, it is definitely not younger kids.
